Privacy policy

Colorado Local Detailing is a small owner-operated business. We collect the information needed to schedule your appointment, detail your vehicle and invoice you, and nothing beyond that.

1. What we collect

When you book or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, vehicle year, make and model, and any notes you give us about the vehicle. When you use the travel fee calculator, the address you type is sent to a mapping service to convert it into coordinates. We do not store what you type there.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell visitor data.

2. How we use it

To schedule and confirm appointments, to reach you about arrival times or weather changes, to detail your vehicle correctly, to send invoices and receipts, and to keep a service history so we know what was done last time. If you ask us to, we will follow up when a coating is due for maintenance.

3. Payments

Deposits and invoices are processed through QuickBooks Payments. Card numbers are entered into their system and are handled under their security and privacy terms. We never see or store your full card number.

A few outside services make this site and our scheduling work. Each one only receives what it needs.

5. Vehicle photos

We photograph vehicles before and after service. Those photos may appear on this site or on our social accounts. We do not publish license plates, addresses or anything that identifies where a vehicle is kept. Tell us if you would prefer your vehicle stay out of our public photos and we will honor it.

6. Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the services listed above so they can do their part of the job, or when the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

Appointment and service records are kept while you are a customer and as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time, apart from records we are legally required to keep.

8. Your choices

You can ask what we have on file, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of appointment texts. Colorado residents have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and we honor those requests the same way. Email or call us and we will handle it.

9. Children

This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
